Opera Fest 2013

Rimrock Opera presents its annual spring fundraiser, OperaFest, scheduled for Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Yellowstone Country Club, 5707 Bobby Jones Blvd. in Billings, Mont. OperaFest offers an upscale silent auction, fine dining, music and a delightful evening of live opera entertainment.

Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres and no-host cocktails, followed by a gourmet dinner with select wines. Attire is as formal as the guest wishes. A highlight of the evening will be performances from the artists of the upcoming opera, Verdi's Aïda. Proceeds from OperaFest directly offset costs of the main stage productions.

Master of ceremonies will be Rimrock Opera's Artistic Director, Douglas Nagel.

A wide selection of silent and live auction items are available for the guests.
OperaFest is a great opportunity to hear these professional vocal artists, whose voices can fill large theaters, as they perform in a more intimate setting.

Tickets are currently on sale for Verdi's Aïda  at the Alberta Bair Theater Box Office, by calling 406-256-6052, or by visiting the Rimrock Opera website. Ticket prices range from $21 to $46, with student half price tickets available. Verdi's Aïda performance date is Sat. April 27 @ 7:30 pm

Rimrock Opera presents OperaFest, an evening of live opera entertainment, fine dining, with upscale live and silent auctions on Saturday, April 6, at the Yellowstone Country Club. 
Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres and no-host cocktails, followed by a gourmet Middle East dinner with select wines.
Master of ceremonies is Rimrock Opera's artistic director Douglas Nagel. Tom Towe is auctioneer. Rimrock Opera Chorus for Kids (ROCK) takes the stage to open the show. The cast of the upcoming opera "Aida" performing at OperaFest includes Andrea Garritano, Christopher Bengochea, Michelle Berger, Dennis Rupp, Robert Aaron Taylor, Carolyn Coefield and Daren Small. Accompanists are MaryKate Hotaling and Jan Halmes.
OperaFest is a unique opportunity to meet and hear these professional artists in an intimate setting.
Live auction items include a jewelry piece from Montague’s, an African photo safari for two, and an appearance in a main stage opera. Other auction favorites include two private gourmet dinners for eight by prominent chefs, and a wine and hors d’oeuvre party for 20 by City Vineyard and Tom Nelson Catering, all featuring live opera entertainment.
