
Laura Loge
has performed as the soprano soloist in Faure's Requiem Mass with the
Bremerton Symphony, as well as Schumann's Mass and Requiem,
and Verdi's Requiem with the Masterworks Chorale in Boston. She has
performed the roles of Musetta, Rosalinda, and Goddess Diana (Iphegenie
en Aulide) in Boston, Sister Genevieve and Miss Silverpeal with the
Rimrock Opera, and the Second Lady with Intermountain Opera, and has covered
Lucia and Alisa and the High Priestess with the Intermountain Opera, and
Susannah at the Amalfi Coast Music Festival in Italy. She will be joining
the Rimrock Opera this fall as Ginger in their outreach program, The
Night Harry Stopped Smoking. Laura is a district winner of the 2005
Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. She received her Masters
Degree from New England Conservatory as a student of Edward Zambara, has
studied bel canto in Italy with Signora Rosanna Lippi and studied
Scandinavian Art Song in Norway. Raised in Dillon, Montana, she currently
resides in Seattle and studies with Jane Eaglen.
